Welcome to Wings

Our schools are very unique places that offer young people another chance in their lives.

We aim to provide outstanding education that results in nationally recognized outcomes that young people can use to move their lives forward after Wings.

We work hard to support young people to overcome their past negative experiences and find their individual talents so they can make positive contributions inside and outside the Wings community and feel good about themselves again.

The drive to help our young people to be safe and healthy is worked on through the 24 hour curriculum and shows them that we “care too much” to allow them to put themselves at risk of failing to achieve successful, independent lives.

With the care, attention and devotion of the staff team at Wings, we do believe that our young people can truly fly!

Please do not hesitate to contact the schools for more information or to arrange a visit.

We look forward to welcoming you to our schools.

We were so impressed with the way this young man conducted himself on his work experience whilst in the school, he showed real confidence and character. I would be more than happy to invite him back to extend his placement once he has finished his exams in the summer. - Head of P.E. at local Secondary School

I am more than happy with the placement for our young person and would only wish I could place more people with Wings. - Independent Reviewing Officer

My husband and I wish to thank each and every one of you for your kindness and care that you have given to C. I feel that you have all helped to turn her into the young person she is today. You have helped her to believe in herself, given her self- esteem and made her realise that she is worth something and has a future ahead of her - Parents

Thank you for everything you have done for me and the girls. We all appreciate it very much. You have made us become better people an “believe that we can fly” out of bad things and given us hope for the future and for life – Pupil School leaver

In my 27 years in the job this was probably my best impression of school atmosphere and culture - Educational Psychologist
